My Thoughts: I will admit it. I was shocked at how good this pay per view was. There were dynamic matches and everyone was well done. I am one to say that the matches with just big men are something I have no interest in whatsoever, but Nash/Abyss was a good match. These weren’t the best matches of the year, though some could be argued that they are. This was the best pay per view this year with only Wrestlemania being the competition. It didn’t have a match as awesome and striking as Taker/Michaels, but it was put together better and had more in depth storylines than Wrestlemania.

I would like to stress that this wasn’t the greatest pay per view ever, but it is arguably the best one this year.

Kevin Nash (c) vs Abyss

Mick Foley is out to join Taz and Tenay at the Table wiilding the barbed wire bat.

Nash throws a few right hands and it sends Abyss into the ropes. Abyss throws some right hands of his own, but Nash counters with a big clothesline. Nash throws a few knees into the gut and chokes  Abyss with the boot. Abyss counters a whip and hits a big splash in the corner. Abyss runs in to an elbow and both men goes for a chokeslam. Nash clothesline’s Abyss out of the ring and sends him into the steel steps. Nash grabs a chair and misses on his swing. Abyss sends Nash into the ring post and guard rail as he starts to mount an offense. Abyss throws Nash into the steel steps and back into the ring. Abyss sees Dr. Stevie sitting at the top of the stage. Nash hits a big boot and he backs Abyss into the corner. Nash lands the flurry of back elbows and follows it up with a second rope choke. Nash hits a couple elbow drops which is good enough for a two count. Nash goes for a chokeslam and Abyss fights out of it. Abyss hits a clothesline and a running splash in the corner. Abyss hits a sidewalk slam for a two count, as Stevie walks toward he ring. Dffney rolls into the ring and runs right into a Black Hole Slam. He takes the tazer out of Abyss’s hands and he backs Stevie away from ringside. Nash hits Abyss with a chair, which is good for two. Nash goes for a Jackknife Powerbomb, but Abyss counters with a chokeslam for a two count. Abyss calls for the barbed wire bat, but Abyss can’t grab it. Nash grabs the tazer and tazes Abyss. Nash covers Abyss to gain the victory and the $50,000. After the match, Dr. Stevie runs and takes the money. Stevie eats a Jackknife powerbomb and Nash leaves with the money.
